The Brexit  policy of the May Govt  seems to be edging towards one of a softer Brexit than one that was originally envisaged if we took Her conference speech at face value. Although what is of fundamental interest is her domestic priorities, her One Nation Conservative agenda of social reform and economic re-balancing through her industrial strategy.

will this be bland centrism or a truly new radical form of  reforming conservatism leaning towards a christian democratic bent  that has been an effective social model in Germany  under the CDU (Christian democratic union). The idea of workers on boards is an idea that corporate Britain will take some time in getting used to, by the time this cultural adjustment has taken place, along with the adoption of employee ownership models, such as the renowned John Lewis model.
