People need some optimism that Reform and Farage will fuck it up for themselves by aligning with a leader who will trigger a UK recession, creating a trade war with our closest trading partner in the EU with any luck that will focus the minds of red wall voters that they FAFO..
What will eventually discredit Reform UK and Farage will be their support for Trump, while the Trump triggered trade war causes inflation and interest rates to spike from the effects of his Trade war with the civilised world causing prices to spike through its effects.
Perhaps after a PR disaster resulting from Farage and Reform UK supporting Trump during a US trade war against most of the civilised world , which then triggers inflation and interest rates to sky rocket and stay higher for longer. Then Reform and Farage discredit themselves.
A middle way of a limited UK-US trade deal that doesn’t mean involving the NHS or Chlorinated Chicken in it can be a win. we’d have to firmly protect our interests so we didn’t get held over a barrel no matter what state our economy is in.
We shouldn’t have to make a trade deal with the US under duress of tarrifs being potentially imposed if we decide against one, Reform UK supporters should feel ashamed for grovelling at the feet of Trump.
