Boris Johnson created the post Brexit immigration system since 2020 when we left the single market and free movement with the EU. He was responsible for creating the new system, and Bigly failed. He should be held responsible, but somehow, his  supporters still lionise him.

One Nation Conservative stuff doesn’t seem angry enough to be mass market, seems to  much of an ideological niche. People in the Red Wall of Northern England have become tired of pragmatism, unfortunately.

Boris didn’t know what to do with the majority he got and faffed up levelling up, and people in the Red Wall are now starting to swing to Reform UK even though Reform are essentially low tax nationalists.

The big question is what happens in the aftermath. What happens to the right, does it merge with Reform UK, or Farage directly takes over what’s left of the Conservatives
